3 Tips to LiTE Up Any Event

Warmer weather is just around the corner which means event season is closing in on us! Whether you are hosting a backyard pool party or trying to bring an entire corporate entourage to the dance floor, here are 3 tips to LiTE up ANY event! 

3. Set the scene. Don’t forget that your DJ booth is what will end up being the center of the party once dinner is over. Lights, disco balls, props, anything to keep the crowd interested! 

2. Work with your audience! Of course, you will probably have a pretty good idea of who your core audience will be before you start your set, but that’s not always the case! Take a look around and take in the demographic of your crowd. Oldies, today’s hits, country, rap, sing-alongs: who are you playing to?

1. As cheesy as this may sound, SMILE! If you look like you are having a good time and enjoying the party, your crowd will follow! Remember, as the DJ, you are the face of the party. Your body language has the control to shape the feeling of the party. Don’t get caught slippin’.
